When I woke up, I thought I was in the middle of the Amazon. Like, what do you mean trees and cars were floating on the road in South Korea? Of course, that sparked my curiosity, so my friend and I ran out to explore.
We went all the way down to the Han River entrance ( in the picture ) , and the view was shocking. Actually, the place is supposed to be a walkway, but it was completely filled with water. We realized it might be dangerous to go any deeper, so we headed back.

Several people sadly lost their lives due to this catastrophe, and some changes were made afterward:
- Emergency alert messages before heavy rainfall (since we never had floods like this before, we didn’t have those warnings when it rained)
- Revisions to parts of the some facilitie, such as Han River Park, from small things like basketball hoops to new systems that detect rainfall levels.
