This video is of me reading my letter out loud, as I won second place in my grade. It was an in-school contest where students wrote letters to the authors of books they had read in previous years, and the best letters received first, second, and third prizes.
For the first contest, I chose a book I had read during the school year in English class. However, for the second contest, I felt more confident and selected my favorite book, They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera. This is a philosophical book that explores mortality and how to live a meaningful life when time is short.
