Because of the light usage, they are able to survive by using it for defense, attracting prey, and communication for mating. Thus, this experiment aims to mimic their glowing in order to learn the chemical process of bioluminescence and understand how it contributes to survival in deep-sea environments. It was an experiment that connected chemistry and biology at once, which involved every club member in their own role. It was successful on our third trial, which made us even more passionate about the results :>
